CDARS (Certificate of Deposit Account Registry Service)
CDARS offers full FDIC insurance on deposit amounts larger than $250,000. Five Star Bank handles the placement of the funds through a network of community banks; you earn one rate on your entire investment, and receive one regular account statement listing all of your CDs.
