Five Star Bank Named SBA Lender of the Year

Five Star Bank has been named “Lender of the Year” by the Small Business Administration Sacramento District Office.
The Sacramento District Office serves 21 counties in Northern California including: Amador, Butte, Calaveras, Colusa, Glenn, El Dorado, Lassen, Modoc, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Shasta, Sierra, Siskiyou, Sutter, Tehama, Trinity, Yolo and Yuba.
“We are honored to be recognized this way”, said Five Star Bank’s Mike Rizzo, SVP/Commercial and Emerging Business Banking. “We work hard to ensure that our small business clients are successful. This award reinforces the fact that we are doing right by them and they are creating businesses that produce jobs.” 
The U.S. Small Business Administration holds the Small Business Awards Recognition Reception annually. Winners are nominated in various categories and nominations are reviewed by an independent panel of judges. Five Star Bank received the Lender of the Year Award during the ceremony at the SBA office in Citrus Heights on Thursday, June 23, 2011.
