Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy :: What’s Next
There is always a lot of talk about what’s on the business horizon. Everyone is eager to know what is next! Thankfully for Sacramento we have a opportunity to get an early look at the people and ideas that will lead us into the next economy.
The Sacramento Entrepreneurship Academy (SEA) provides a structured program in which successful entrepreneurs show the next generation the tricks of the trade. The program provides real world business education and networking to students interested in entrepreneurship. Successful entrepreneurs, with innovative ideas and fresh perspectives, mean a success economy.

The Showcase event is a great way to share the successes and optimism of the Sacramento entrepreneur community and if you have not yet attended one of these showcases, I urge you to do so! This year, Michael Marks, former CEO and chairman of Flextronics International Ltd., will be the keynote speaker and has quite the story to tell. While at Flextronics International Ltd., Marks increased the company’s annual revenue from millions to billions.
I can’t wait to hear his story but the best part of the night will be the SEA fellows. Meeting and hearing from the latest class of risk takers is always a highlight.
