Senior Vice President, San Francisco Bay Area President
DJ Kurtze is Five Star Bank’s Senior Vice President, San Francisco Bay Area Region President. He most recently served as Senior Vice President, Group Director at Signature Bank (acquired by Flagstar Bank). Mr. Kurtze brings extensive commercial banking and lending experience including almost a decade of management of top performing business development and relationship teams at Wells Fargo Bank where he oversaw a substantial credit and deposit portfolio of over 350 San Francisco commercial clients. His experience also includes National Director of Sales and leading SBA 504 loan growth for Liberty SBF.
Mr. Kurtze has an established Bay Area network of business professionals and is actively involved in the greater San Francisco community. He previously served on the board of directors at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. He currently serves on the board of directors of TMC Financing as Vice Chair, one of the largest SBA Certified Development Companies in the nation. Mr. Kurtze also serves on the board of directors of Hamilton Families which has a mission to end family homelessness. He graduated from Fresno Pacific University with a BA in Business Management.
