Senior Vice President / Managing Director, San Francisco Bay Area
Emily Wu joined Five Star Bank as Senior Vice President / Managing Director with over 25 years of experience in commercial and private banking. Before joining Five Star Bank's team, Ms. Wu served as Senior Vice President and Regional Manager at Community Bank of the Bay, a division of Commercial Bank of California. In this role, she established client relationships and managed a team of relationship managers and client services associates. She has also worked at First Republic Bank, Greater Bay Bank, Union Bank of California and Citibank. Ms. Wu is a passionate community advocate and is a current board member of A Better Way, Berkeley, a non-profit organization that works with Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco and Solano Counties to help children and parents thrive. She has also served on the boards of directors for the East Bay Asian Youth Center and the Livermore Lab Foundation. Ms. Wu attended Hong Kong Polytechnic University and graduated with honors with a bachelor’s degree in finance. She also received an Executive Women in Leadership Certificate from Cornell University and completed McKinsey Institute's Asian Leadership Academy.
